Patient Reviews
Jul 14, 2020
Dr. Shelly Comptom (now Dr. Lewis), is amazing! When I was researching OB’s, I wanted someone who had an excellent bedside manner but who also was an expert in gynecologic surgery. Hoping I would never need this service, but if I did, I would want it to be with the provider with whom I have a relationship. During my pregnancy, she answered my many (many!) questions and addressed all concerns with sensitivity and compassion – even though some of them were silly! The event that stands out the most is during labor. I went into the hospital, and she was on call until 7 am. I started pushing around 6 am and by 9:15 am, she was by my side, and we were discussing options. After she laid out all the options, we decided on a c-section. I am so grateful she was my OB and surgeon. I had a healthy baby at 10:07 am. Her bedside manner is like no other that I have encountered in healthcare. Her compassion, humor, and expertise are why I recommend her to all the women in my life.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
