She is contracted with Cigna to help them deny people’s claims. In our case she denied a follow up CT scan for my daughter’s cancer that was ordered by our oncologist in accordance with what is considered standard of care for this particular disease process. As a family practitioner what possible expertise does she have over that of specialty providers who are at the top of their field. As a family we also know a little about healthcare, we are both APRNs and we will be making a complaint against her license. PCPs like her would do people more good for humanity by calling in sick. Doctors like this who shill for insurance companies cost people’s lives.
