I had an appointment with Dr. Thomas. First, the MA who took my blood pressure and temperature was clearly in a really bad mood. She took me into the treatment room. Then the doctor comes in. They had no idea why I was there when the appointment was made For an exam. I was asked by an MA through my portal to send a picture of my breast. For a new lump. She made the appointment to have it looked at. When I got there I was made to feel like it was a waste of time and that I should have had imaging first. I was so Embarrassed. I may even get second opinion because she said it was a skin cyst. But it now is hurting hot and has a red rash around it. Dr. Thomas was my surgeon for my lumpectomy for ductal papillomas. She was fabulous. I thought I could come to her. I will know next time to get exams first by obgyn to take correct steps.
