Dr. Hsiung trivialized the condition I was seeking treatment for and in a very bizarre pre-surgery consult, cast extreme doubt on her own ability to perform the surgery. When I explained to her that I’d already had a similar operation performed in the past, she began asking me “how they did it” as if I would know. (I am… not a surgeon…)Ultimately her approach undermined my confidence in her capacities so much that I elected to forego the surgery. I will have to find another dermatologist to treat this issue, which is very frustrating given how long I had been waiting for this appointment.
