I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience is important for prospective patients to know.After a virtual consultation, I scheduled surgery and paid a $6,298 deposit based on the guidance that I was an appropriate candidate and that the timing would allow recovery for an important family event. I was never examined in person prior to scheduling.Before my pre operative visit, I sought additional medical opinions. Multiple independent physicians advised that surgery was not appropriate for me at this time. Based on this guidance, I cancelled more than a month in advance.Despite this, the practice retained the deposit even though the cancellation was based on physician recommendations and no services were performed. I also asked whether my date could be reassigned, but this was declined.I encourage patients to seek independent opinions and fully understand financial policies before scheduling.
