Patient Reviews
May 16, 2024
TCAR surgery of the right ICA was not successful, and the stent was most likely not fully opened or checked. After the surgery, three ultrasounds over a 6-month period indicated 70 to 99% stenosis. Dr, Noor's only recommendations were dietary. She never reviewed or discussed any medical alternatives even though I was at risk of a stroke or death. In Florida a Computed Tomography Angiograph showed the severe blockage and a collapsed stent. Dr. Scanlon in Naples. Florida performed a Trans-carotid Artery Angioplasty surgery, and after 3 attempts the stent was finally successfully opened. Finally, Dr. Noor's failed surgery has been corrected.
