I went to the ER at St. David's South Medical Center due to severe pain from a kidney stone, where Dr. Stacy Ong was assigned as my urologist. Over the course of four weeks of treatment, I found Dr. Ong?s communication to be poor, her manner dismissive, and her overall attitude as though she would rather be elsewhere. When I asked questions to better understand my recovery and the procedures she scheduled, her responses were often short, evasive, and unhelpful. At no point did I feel fully informed or supported in making important decisions about my care. It appeared that Dr. Ong was following her own agenda rather than addressing my concerns. Based on this horrible experience, I will not seek care from Dr. Ong in the future.
