I went to after hours care for sudden pain in my left arm followed by numbness in my hand that was going up my arm and then later my right hand. She tried to give reasons why I was experiencing left arm pain/numbness but when asked about my right hand she kept saying “I can’t explain it. I can’t explain that.” When she couldn’t explain things she asked me if I had anxiety and said maybe that’s why my hands were going numb. I was literally just sitting in my car watching the sunset when this started, yet she wanted to try to say it was something I was probably doing to irritate my arm? I also had severe HBP when they took my vitals. She didn’t address it once. Told me I shouldn’t do anything at all. Said it could possibly be caused by work, but didn’t ask if I needed a work note. I overheard the nurse say she wasn’t taking anyone else after me before they called me in. Honestly felt like she was just trying to go home. I cried after I left.
