My first meeting with Dr. Kessler was fantastic! He put me at ease and treated me like a person, listened to me, was all around nice. Then I had a problem arise with abdominal pain that sent me to the ER after having a colonoscopy, I thought I was having appendicitis, or something related to the colonoscopy, but nothing was found conclusive in the ER, so I was told to see my gynecologist to rule out ovarian cyst, or something gynecological. This visit was vastly different than my first encounter. I was treated like a waste of his and his nurses time. HIs only comment to me was "you are old, and old women have pain that has no reason, so you just have to deal with it." I'm 61, I have cancer, and a lot going on for the first time in my life. I'm not a drug seeker or anything, I just want an answer why the pain! I can "deal with it" a lot easier if I know what it is rather than just being brushed off. I'm sorry I'm such a waste of his time! I won't be wasting anymore of his time though!
