Patient Reviews
Sep 19, 2025
Our family doctor referred us to a gastroenterologist about my son’s stomach problems, but that doctor just brushed us off and claimed my son had IBS. He continued to have problems. Then the week before his wedding, at a family party, he got especially sick and we took him to the ER. They ran a bunch of tests but nothing came back suspicious, so they referred us to Dr. Porter. We called Dr. Porter’s office and explained that my son was sick but supposed to be wed that week. They got us in the next day and even did a endoscopy with biopsy at the same appointment. Dr. Porter had the results right away which showed Celiacs Disease. His recommendation helped my son feel better by his wedding day and helped him continue to heal. We were so thankful he treated my son with urgency and actually took his stomach issues seriously enough to be thorough and run some tests, unlike the other specialist. He has taught my son how to live with Celiacs Disease and cope when he gets glutened
