DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR UNLESS YOU NEED AN ARROGANT LECTURE WHICH INVOLVES BEING CALLED A DRUG DEALER. To begin. I suffered an injury in 2013 which lead to a incredibly painful spinal condition by 2019. After trying all sorts of treatments my Dr recommended a pain management doctor so that I could at least get some of my life back on track. Since then i have been taking two low dose opioids and have recovered the ability to do many things that for years I could not. Despite what this Doctor says medication management is a thing. Plenty of doctors around the country prescribe pain medications and monitor their patients successfully. This Dr arrogantly lectured me that that wasnt really a thing. Pain medications are for short term injuries and anyone aiming to need long term pain medications was either lying, a drug addict or as she said “wind up selling their opioids.” Yes. This Doctor actually said that anyone asking for opioids winds up being a drug dealer. Seek care elsewhere. Im in more pain than before my appointment just from the lecture.
