We were at the urgent care for 4 hours. All staff and nurses were great, all but Dr. Suliman Rastgar. I tried to have a discussion with Dr. Rastgar by bringing up my sons medical history to see if it was related to his injury and he exclaimed "I DO NOT TAKE DIRECTION FROM YOU" and began lecturing while I was mid-sentence. I said that as a mother “I’m trying to have a discussion about my son's health, and not challenge your authority” but I could not get a word in. I was humiliated in front of my son, for being his advocate and belittled for attempting to provide medical history in hopes it may help. To Suliman Rastagar - To be referred to as a doctor is an honor. Every patient arrives at your urgent care with a story and a set of their concerns. We may just be another patient to you, but to me, my son is my world. If you cannot sympathize, or empathize, it doesn't matter if you have healing hands - you are in the wrong profession.
