My first visit with Abbey was good, and I was charged for a regular office visit. However, during my next visit, the office had a delayed opening that I was not informed about. I arrived ten minutes before my appointment and found the office closed. After waiting 15 minutes and calling twice without an answer, I left. When I called again at 9:45 a.m., I was told I needed to reschedule.I rescheduled my annual visit but was informed at the front desk that I needed to make a $25 co-pay. My insurance stated that this type of appointment is covered 100%. During the visit, I mentioned that I wasn’t sleeping any better, which led to my appointment being changed from annual to regular, resulting in an additional $20 charge for a specialist visit.I believe additional charges for answering the physician's questions should be disclosed upfront.
