Dr Ahmari has been wonderful to work with. She is not my regular doctor, but she has covered for my doctor many times. She has a way about her that just makes me feel as if there really is hope and I am not a failure. She remembers things I have told her about when she was filling in for my doctor, and that in itself has helped me to not feel alone and to see that there ARE people who really listen to me and care about me as a person- I am not defined by the diagnosis. She cares enough to ask the tough questions and knows how to gently go a bit deeper if she needs to. She is not afraid to go further than surface level and spend the time to assure my safety. She has helped me & reminded me that I really do matter and I have worth and purpose.
