Dr. Tabetha Ratliff, MD

I never really feel like she takes me seriously. Everything I ask of her is either something she refuses to do or makes me jump through a hundred hoops that takes months to get to a resolution for. I asked for an emotional support animal letter because I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression my whole life and she flat out refused telling me they only do that for veterans with ptsd. I asked her about starting a certain medication for my anxiety and she made me set up several appointments over a course of months to get second opinions from other professionals and in the end, I ended up on the medication I suggested with fabulous results. Only after missing several scheduled shifts due to severe panic attacks and getting reprimanded for it in the meantime. Then I asked her to fill out some paperwork for my migraines that I’ve already discussed with her so I can have a standing leave case at work and won’t get in trouble for the days I miss due to those migraines. She refused and said to see her in person. Which wouldn’t be a big deal but every time I call to make an appointment with her, she’s booked and I get somebody else. Very little help from her and when I get it, it’s taken an abundance of time to get there. If it weren’t so hard to get in with another pcp, I’d have already switched.
