I had a rescheduled appointment today at 1:45 PM. Dr. Abella had a delivery and my original appointment was changed until today. Yesterday I received a reminder that my appointment was at 1:45 on Friday, May 16, 2025. In the pouring rain and after someone crashed into my bumper on the way to doctor’s office, I arrived no more than 10 minutes late. I have never been late to her office in the past. The doctor’s office was closed, completely dark and with no explanation as to why it was closed. I have called two times for a response. I ran out of my office on what took me 45 minutes and today 55 minutes to get there because of the accident and another 45 minutes home. I am furious that this happened after I was more than understanding that my original appointment had been canceled. Dr. Abella has always been a good doctor for the years I have known her. Her staff, however, has been less than pleasant to say the least. I am so disappointed that no one would have called and that the office was completely shuttered in 10 minutes past my appointment time. What business runs that way? I doubt I will be back.
