I would NOT recommend this podiatrist office. I made the mistake of not reading the online reviews which are 85% negative. I provided them with my private insurance and they stated that the medications, treatments and ultrasound were not covered. Eventhough, they are in network and I have great insurance coverage. Needless to say, I paid upfront and their office billed my insurance for the ultrasound. I am now submitting all my receipts for reimbursement and questioning the treatment plan while looking for a new podiatrist. They are a money making business. BEWARE!

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Wellens and her staff. I came looking for a second opinion after being frustrated with no results or really even a plan of action for my Morton’s neuroma. The first thing I was impressed with was the little snack and beverage area available if needed. I thought that was welcoming and just thoughtful. Next, the reception ladies were wonderful- thorough and friendly- answering any questions, prepared, and caring. I was called back quickly and the nurse was an Angel- asked questions, helped me with my concerns, and was easy to talk with. Dr. Wellens came in and was SO patient with me and actually listened to me. She explained my options, their success rates, prices, and quickly was able to get me on board with a series of shots. I’m terrified of needles and I often pass out or get sick with them, but she was quick, tried to distract me with conversation, and had the nurse bring a ginger ale, so all was good. I have only gone to 2/4 follow ups and am still not “recovered” but I highly recommend the office and Dr. Wellens, as my experience thus far has been truly great. Even if the shots don’t work, I have no reservations of continuing to work with this office until pain is gone.

Dr Wellens and her staff were great! Crystal was so professional, reassuring and fun. As surgeries go, this was a wonderful experience! Thank you Dr Wellens for your professional guidance with my foot issues!
