I got some type of virus on the 10 days cruise, that left me with terrible cough ( the worst in my live. I am 71 year old) , heavy chest and nose congestion, mucus in my eyes, that I never experienced before. Two days into the infection I completely lost my voice. After 4 or 5 days I thought, I was recovering, when everything started all over again. (Four days after coming home I am still not well). I was afraid of possible complications. Got appointment with this doctor. He honestly wrote down all my complains, said that it can be a virus that they don't treat and possibly, the whole thing was just the allergic reaction, and the cough is just from dripping from my nose. He prescribed Benzonatate, that 61% of people have found useless, advised some over the counter drops and that was that. I also had high blood pressure that he didn't address at all. They swabbed my nose and throat and said everything is OK. 30 Minutes after the visit I had a cough spell that I thought might die
