I worked in customer service for 5+ years , the way my mother was treated by the receptionist on 12/7/2022 was short of horrible to nearly fatal as my mother suffers heart problems and was in excruciating pain. They opted out of accepting Amerihealth which overall insurance is hard to understand. When i called and asked why as of the 12/13/2022 wouldn't take the insurance she chuckled and said BECAUSE WE OPTED OUT OF ACCEPTING THAT INSURANCE.. I have friends in the medical industry , nurses, receptionist etc.. It was so rude the way she approached my mother 70 year old woman with her remarks as if we know why amerihealth decided to put them in the list of providers who accepted that insurance. Needless to say it was ridiculous and I hope they do better in the future inregards to customer service PATIENTS WHO ARE IN PAIN . Please educate your staff on proper call etiquette as raising her voice, laughing, condescending tone should not be part of any medical practice.
