I had surgery on Oct. 20. The surgery was explained very well, planned well and was done according to plan. Dr. Wright was very straightforward about what would accomplished during the surgery and very good at answering questions. I was very well treated during pre-op surgery, surgery and post surgery. Everyone was very kind to me, introduced themselves and stressed that I should ask for anything I needed. The facility was very clean and great thought and care went into ways to avoid infection. The care started prior to surgery and extended through the hospital stay and into the follow-up care after leaving the hospital. I was in both ICU and the first step down section (regular rooms). Nursing was truly excellent in both units. I think it says a lot about the empathy of the nursing when almost every nurse came to tell me goodbye, wish me well when I left, and offer advice they had for getting well. This group clearly feels like a team. They work well with each other and Dr. Wright.
