I walked in feeling scared and I was crying (I cry over everything) he immediately listened to all my concerns and caught my unmedicated adhd right away.. his plan for me is to first get my anxiety under control..maybe some therapy and help me less scatter brained so thankful to have met dr lobur and look forward to continuing to work with him.

My very first appointment with him he explained to me what bipolar disorder looks like. I have depression and could not understand the need of this conversation, but he described it like this. "One day you're feeling great, you decide to ask for that raise you think you deserve, you don't get it, so you quit your job and decide to become a writer, you cheat on your husband, not only with one person, but three in one weekend, you lose your house, husband and job, now you're on the streets talking to yourself and hallucinating and naked on the train and getting arrested." I was extremely uncomfortable and just requested a refill of my prescription that I have been on for almost 7 years. He had to look up how to write the prescription. He always writes them incorrect requiring you to go back to the office. This week he has ignored me as I have explained to the office that there is a shortage on my prescription at all pharmacies. 5 days without my prescription now. I've called the office multiple times and he will not do anything about it. I have never experienced such negligence with a psychiatrist. The only thing I have experienced from most psychiatrists are ones that rush you out and prescribe you anything regardless of your concerns or history. I've never had a Dr. ignore me, not believe me about a global shortage on a prescription, and then leave me with no solution. I have now found care with another psychiatrist and I will never refer anyone to this man.
