I wish I could say I loved my experience but that is not the case. I did extensive research to find the best fit (doctor and procedure wise) and thought that Dr. Ferro was it. My experience prior to surgery was relatively good, however one doctor was not. I was explicit that for future visits I did not wish to have this person on my team. I thought that my wishes would be followed and was surprised when he showed up in my room prior to surgery. I told the nurses about the experience as well as Dr. Ferro. Post surgery when I was supposed to have a post op appt, I was informed it was cancelled. It was rescheduled (at a location MUCH farther away) and when I finally saw the doctor it was the SAME one I specifically asked not to be scheduled with. I was scheduled to see Dr. Ferro 4 weeks later and 2 hours prior to that appt I was informed Dr. Ferro was unavailable (again) but I could see the other doctor (that I have requested NOT to see). Mind you, I have yet to have an actual appt with the doctor that did my surgery and I am 5 months post op. Dr. Ferro called me and made promises to work his schedule around a time to see me….I have not heard from him or his staff. In terms of the knee replacement….it is ok . The total lack of communication has been frustrating. My team of physical therapists have been working blindly since there was no feed back. Dr. Ferro did say that “when you have Ferrari parts you don’t need to worry about PT” when he called me and I spoke of the lack of follow up. I don’t think I would recommend him or his clinic to anyone.

My 74-year-old mom drove a total of six hours for her knee appointment on Thursday (3-7-24). She was told by the PA they no longer provide knee injections and sent her home. This is an awful way to do business. Dr. Ferro, show some class, think about other people than yourself, and treat our elders with respect. Obviously, I do not recommend this Dr.
