after 4 appts @ dr barrets practice not once did i ever meet or consult with him.After 3 steroid injections and his recommende jel injection, I was still bewildered as to why Dr. Barrett and I had never spoke or met each other.After 2mos of the gel injection, once again he was absent and delegated the consult i was expecting from him in person to his PA which honestly diminished my faith in this man who was highly recommende to me and well regarded by the reviews i read.My dissapointment led me to an another specialist who immediately ordered an MRI which concluded very different and more concise issues that were never mentioned or discussed to me by his PA. My new course of treament will be to scope and repair a multiple torn miniscus, remove a cyst under the patella and other issues that will remediate the majority of my pain and mobility issues.I was informed that a simple x-ray,which was the only diagnostic image that the PA ordered was not sufficent enough to expose all these additional,underlying problems that the MRI brought to light.Because of this new diagnosis I am very hopefull and extremely confident that I am in good hands now as opposed to the treatment from Dr. Barrett's practice but especially from his PA who I considered to be very apathetic and extremly condescending in regards to my experience and treatment by him.In closing, Dr. Barrett's biggest wrongdoing was his failing to not scrutinize his apprentice of a Dr. (jason) but also his failure of delegating important details in his practice. I, myself, feel obligated to advise the public, my friends, and the multitudes of people who are hurting,in pain and searching for the best of care can not and will not recomend your practice after my dreadfull experience i went through with my experience despite your "highly recomended" reputation.
