Patient Reviews
Jan 05, 2022
Dr. Byrne participated in my pre-liver transplant care and testing. He was part of the team the successfully transplanted a partial, donor liver into me in August 2009. He was always professional, very clear in his explanations of tests, their results, self-care expectations, surgical procedure and possible outcomes before and after the surgery. He was a little intimidating only because he was very concise in his instructions and expectations of me but because of that and the wonderful transplant team and care at Mayo Hospital, in Phoenix, I survived end stage liver disease and near death. I recently had my 12th anniversary and I'm now 70 years old.
