I met dr. Tom oliverson in a pre-op room before a major surgery. He brought his team in introduced each of them and proceeded to ask me questions. In particular, he asked if I had acid reflux, which no doubt he noted on my chart. he said okay will tilt your head up so that doesn't become an issue. I could not have asked for a better anesthesiologist. He also used a camera to make sure the incubation tube went down without a problem. I woke up without my throat hurting. Key issue: I woke up!
