In 2015 I had a mammogram and ultrasound done by Dr. Vo. When she came in and as she was reviewing my ultrasound, she said, without any consideration for what I was going through, that it looks like I needed to have a lumpectomy or a mastectomy. First off, I don't believe it is the radiologist's place to make that call nor to tell the patient that. I am surprised to read the November 2019 review of Dr. Vo. I received a completely different treatment from her. Maybe she was having a bad day, but then again, so was I. It has always bothered me how she told me about my cancer and I found a report with her name on it while I was discarding old medical records. I certainly hope she is much better in her treatment of other women that are going through tests for breast cancer.
