Ambulance brought me to Mercy due to symptoms of heart attack. Dr Matlack quickly ordered blood tests which confirmed the diagnosis. Right then, I suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed. Dr Matlack acted swiftly to alert the "code blue" team, headed by Steven Hirsch, MD. Somehow, Doctors Hirsch and Matlack continued CPR while using a femoral catheter to remove a blood clot lodged in a cardiac artery. My recovery was, without a doubt, a miracle! I thank God for sending me to Mercy where Doctors Matlack & Hirsch saved my life.
