An excellent Surgeon and person. I am very allergic to opiates. Terrible reactions including going through a code blue experience. One time I ended up in an ambulance from one emergency room to a level one trauma center. Dr. McKenna performed surgery on me for an incarcerated right inguinal hernia in June, 2015 with out opiates or synthetic opiates before during or after the surgery. IV Tylenol, local anesthesia and Propanol (as I recall) were used at the hospital and oral Tylenol at home.
