They were prompt in seeing me. The assistant came in to see me first. She asked me some preliminary questions and went through my medications list. Then the doctor came in and examined me. He was not prepared with my medical history, even though I had submitted it on the app. I had to tell him and he submitted it in his notes at that moment. He reviewed my sleep study and determined I needed a CPAP Machine. After two weeks the doctor's notes had not been submitted in the system with his approval. Therefore, my CPAP Machine preapproval had not been submitted. After three phone calls and two days the doctor's notes were submitted. Now, it has been two weeks later, a total of 4 weeks, and my insurance company says that the doctor's office has not submitted the preapproval request for the CPAP Machine. This is very disappointing to a patient, that stops breathing during sleep, which can lead to serious health problems. The doctor made it seem urgent, but has not ordered the machine.
