Patient Reviews
Jun 13, 2024
I saw Dr Raman in 2022 for a crippling disc bulge and crushed nerves that kept me bedridden for two months and impaired motor function, limited mobility so I could only walk or stand for maybe 30-40 minutes a day and caused intense pain and numbness in my left leg. She insisted my massively herniated disc and the nerve damage it was causing would magically get better all by itself four months in. It did NOT get better and she blew me off not even showing at my next appt. Luckily I got a second opinion from a surgeon who immediately came to the conclusion I did need a decompression surgery. I was needlessly suffering for 6 months and some nerves were permanently damaged and suffocated by the disc due to waiting so long. I’ll forever avoid her and I see she has dropped a few rungs at NYU Langone since then. Not surprised.
