Patient Reviews
Nov 25, 2025
Dr. Shapiro at Southern California Orthopedic Institute is hands-down the best orthopedic surgeon I’ve ever trusted with my shoulders. This was my second rotator cuff repair with him — first the right shoulder a few years ago, now the left — and both times the results have been outstanding. Pain is minimal, range of motion came back faster than I expected, and the scars are practically invisible. He’s extremely thorough in explaining everything, never rushes, and his surgical precision is unmatched. After a bad experience with another surgeon years ago, Dr. Shapiro is literally the only person I will let touch my shoulders. If you need shoulder work in SoCal, do yourself a favor and see him — you won’t regret it.
