I do believe this doctor had good intentions, but the issues were too much to stay silent: - His assistant scheduled me a month out for surgery questions instead of an ear infection. The chosen date was so close to surgery it would have led to postponement. - I was given trouble in trying to get in sooner with anyone on staff due to his assistant miscommunicating why I wanted to be seen. - He trusts his assistant’s judgment even though she did not transcribe information to him so he can understand patients needs to make vital decisions & recommendations. - Mistakes led to me desperately trying to convey via message which was distressing. Information was not registering with oral conversation. - I asked for specific allergens to be tested prior that were not included. After asking again no recommendation or advisement. - Kept addressing my outer ear infection from a year ago as a middle ear infection when he was not the treating ENT until this year. - No apologies for mistakes.
