When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Proverbs was not fully clear on my mother's chances. As a matter of fact, the way she explained the process, chemo then Radiation then surgery, implied that mom would end up cancer free. Unfortunately, mom and I were too distraught to notice the word "palliative" on the treatment goal line when we signed paperwork. Dr. Proverbs never expected to cure the cancer. Because of this, my mother went through a few chemo treatments and was hospitalized twice due to side effects from chemo in addition to all the other problems she had. The chemo shortened our time with mom. Dr. Proverbs has a one track mind. It is all cookie cutter treatment for her. She explains things quickly while you are emotionally unstable and then rushes out. During the few chemo treatments and the two hospitalizations, we saw Dr. Proverbs twice. In order to speak with her, we had to badger the nurse/facility. Do not go to her.
