While explaining my situation over the phone to her she lacked in empathy, mocked me, and laughed at me.

I arrived for my appointment with Dr. Turner at seven weeks into my pregnancy, seeking reassurance and guidance regarding my health. Despite facing common pregnancy complications such as a subchorionic hematoma and low progesterone levels – issues within the realm of normalcy – Dr. Turner delivered distressing news with an alarming lack of empathy. Her blunt assertion that I was likely to miscarry left me reeling, devoid of the compassion one expects in such delicate circumstances. In my fervent desire to safeguard my pregnancy, I implored Dr. Turner for medical intervention. However, her response was both callous and financially insensitive. Despite my explicit request for a more affordable alternative covered by my health insurance, she callously disregarded my concerns, prescribing prohibitively expensive medications. This egregious oversight not only squandered precious time but also exacerbated my distress. Repeated attempts to advocate for a cost-effective solution were met with obstinacy, prolonging my anguish unnecessarily. Only after enduring two weeks of fruitless negotiations did Dr. Turner finally acquiesce, begrudgingly prescribing a more affordable medication – a resolution that should have been readily available from the outset. Such cavalier disregard for both my emotional well-being and financial limitations is utterly unacceptable. As a healthcare professional entrusted with the delicate task of guiding expectant mothers through their pregnancies, Dr. Turner's conduct falls far short of the standard of care and compassion that every patient deserves. This ordeal has not only eroded my confidence in her abilities but has also caused undue stress during what should be a joyous time in my life. Dr. Turner's indifference and negligence must be addressed promptly to prevent further harm to vulnerable patients under her care. I got a second opinion and a third. And they all said I was just fine not high risk at all. And it was normal bleeding. All this to say if you are plus sizes do not go here. The office staff was incredibly rude time and time again. Slamming the window shut in my face any opportunity they had. They were completely desensitized to any emotions of feelings the patients were expressing. At one point they just hung up on me in the phone.
