DO NOT take your child to see this man. We came to him for advice on mild IBD case, and he rushed the appointment process and was very rude. (I’ve never even had so much as stomach pain with this, only stool issue) He ended up pressuring for a colonoscopy, which showed evidence of EXTREMELY MILD inflammation in the gut. But what did he jump to? BIOLOGICS IMMEDIATELY! And when we asked for how long I would be on them—he said for the REST of my LIFE!!! Unbelievable!!! As someone who specializes in the process of digestion, he never once mentioned diet changes or food sensitivities, vitamin levels or anything of the sort. Straight to strong biologics. Got a second and even third opinion and both were complete opposites and gave us advice like changing diet and supplementing. Just as a reminder, I’m basically healed after three months of those things! No strong biologics needed!
