He was rude, arrogant and condescending to me as patient and his staff. He refused to put in request to see GI on call, per my GI doc instructions. He discharged me and said there was nothing wrong with me but told my husband I had depression and needed to see a therapist. We overheard him outside my room laughing with a male nurse and stating I was here for pain meds and that was going to happen on his watch. My husband and I left and immediately went to Dupont hospital where they found I had CDiff, SIBO and a staph infection. I had a fever of 102 and was admitted for 5 days. He will NEVER step foot in an exam room with me or a family member again. His staff apologized to my husband and myself. One nurse stated he is impossible to work with. The saddest part of all of this is that I reached out to Parkview patient advocate and the hospital stood behind him. How is this treatment okay?
