Dr. Dhingra was my mother's psychiatrist. She deserves a zero. While under her care, she approved an elective knee surgery for my mother. After surgery my mother became psychotic. We were then told that psychosis after general anesthesia is very common in early dementia patients. That fact would have ruled out the elective surgery for us. She was held in the archaic geriatric psych unit in Euclid hospital, discharged home very physically ill and found to have an aortic aneurysm requiring immediate surgery (at a different hospital) days after discharge. Horrible "caregiver." Shame on you Euclid hospital and Dr. Dhingra!
