My root canal was definitely necessary and the procedure itself was relatively painless. Unfortunately, the appointment felt both rushed and like it dragged on forever. I did a lot of waiting by myself in the treatment chair or with a nurse sitting silently as I had uncomfortable or gross tasting things jammed in my mouth. There seemed to be multiple appointments going on at the same time that the Dr would go between as I heard her talking to what sounded like another patient as I was in discomfort. The numbing shots were applied in a rushed manner and one spot where I was poked had not had any topical applied on that location as the Dr had done that hurriedly seeming as well. I was left to scrub blood and filling material off my numb face once I was checked out by the front desk. I am relieved to be in less pain now but wish my experience had been better.
