A year or two ago I finally went to gyno for help with long standing menstrual issues. I had gone thru the invasive procedure to external and internal ultrasound (yes, inside me - you know where the instrument went). Only to be told by Dr. Vanderpool that the procedure would have to be done AGAIN as it was done during the wrong time of the month. I had told the scheduler of this procedure due to my irregular cycles, I needed to call and get in ASAP after my cycle had finished. No go, had to schedule it and just hope for the best. I also brought up some long standing issues with Dr. Vanderpool only to have her turn back to the screen and ignore my concern or recommend a hysterectomy - more than one. Is this really what we can expect from American Healthcare when it comes to Women's health? If it is a problem, let's just rip it all out. I went home and cried. I can't get help and now I don't believe it is even possible for Doctors to care.
