I had a terrible experience with Dr. Steen. A resident started my c-section before Dr. Steen came into the operating room. She spent the entire time talking to the resident about their plans for the weekend. She never greeted or looked at me. She didn’t say anything when my son was born. She left while the resident was closing and still didn’t say anything. For my first checkup after the c-section, I wasn’t permitted to drive. So my husband drove and we had our son with us. We got to her office to have the staff tell us they had tried to call us to cancel. They said Dr. Steen had an emergency. If they really had called, it would have shown on caller ID. I never went back to her.
