Dr. Victor Celis, DMD

I would not recommend Victor Celis based on my experience. I am naturally nervous in new environments, especially when seeing a new doctor. I went to him expecting an evaluation for a tooth removal. Instead, I left feeling humiliated and personally judged. During the consultation, Mr. Celis told me that I “made him feel uncomfortable” and that I “look sad.” At another point, he emphasized that he is a surgeon and that his job is not to clean teeth. I came for a dental evaluation, not to have my personality, demeanor, evaluation. I already experience anxiety when seeing doctors, and this interaction significantly worsened that anxiety and affected my self-esteem. Perhaps Mr. Celis will move on and not remember me as a patient, but I will remember how I was made to feel during this consultation. I now have to find another doctor, go through another consultation, and start the process all over again. I will never know how I made him feel uncomfortable. Because that’s not me at all. :-(
