Husband & I went to Exceptional Emergency Center to get checked out after being in a car accident (other person was at fault). This doc on duty didn’t care to address the areas where we were hurting. Husband told her his ankle & leg were hurting after the accident (we thought perhaps from him bracing for impact & then the head on hit). This doctor said but you didn’t suffer any trauma to your foot because the accident didn’t crush the cab in on your foot. We were floored that was her answer. My husband responded that although the accident didn’t cut his foot & there’s no blood doesn’t mean there’s no trauma, it didn’t hurt before but it started hurting afterward. She asked him to walk on it as she watched. I guess because he didn’t have a visible limp, she said “see it’s fine.” She had a similar response to me & my lower back and arm hurting “just muscle strain/stress”. She ordered neck scans which showed we rcvd sprains, but she didn’t treat or even document any other pained areas. Everyone else there was very friendly and attentive. Now if our injuries get worse, it will be a fight with the insurance of the at fault party thanks to this doc’s poor judgment and negligence of not even documenting our pain and concern of all other areas.

We went to Exceptional Emergency Center after a car accident (other person was at fault) and we informed the doctor of our pains and concerned areas. My husband’s ankle and leg were hurting (we thought maybe because of bracing before impact) and doc responded with but the cabin was crushed in on your foot, there’s no trauma, your foot is fine. My arms and lower back was hurting and she felt my spine and said my spine is fine, I probably have muscle soreness. She only checked and treated us for neck sprains and didn’t treat or even document our other areas where we were also hurting. Now if those other areas get worse, we don’t have the documentation for the at fault party’s insurance. Everyone else at this ER location was friendly and attentive and didn’t seem to ignore our concerns.
