Dr. Katz is a skilled at diagnosing. I had been seen at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) for unbearable joint pain, skin rashes, Eczema so bad I couldn't bend my fingers without blood coming out of my knuckles. HSS only gave me front line meds and after six years and no relief or diagnosis. After one visit Dr. Katz correctly diagnosed me with auto-immune Lupus and put me on infusions to calm my body down. Her office has a phlebotomist and an infusion center, which is top notch. Three months later, the rashes went away and I could walk without pain and regained my life. Unfortunately you will often have to wait many hours for your appointment (she really takes her time with patients) and the prior-authorization desk is a nightmare. The staff is nice, but frequently do don't return phone calls or faxes and seem overwhelmed. Regardless, results are what matters. I won't go back to the large prestigious medical facilities in Manhattan.
