I was seen by Dr Donthireddy due to symptoms that indicated possible blood cancer. The bone marrow biopsy was performed by a nurse practitioner that I believe was not skilled in the procedure. By their own admission the procedure took much longer than normal. I was offered no pain management medication and it was extremely painful. When I went to the appointment for the results she told me I had cancer and then immediately left the room to take a call. I was left to Google my cancer type to determine the severity and prognosis. Needless to say, a negative experience. Although I saw her a few more times, I ultimately left for another doctor and health system.
