Patient Reviews
Jun 23, 2023
I have seen Dr. Rathi at least 3 or 4 times now. He’s also read my ekgs when I’ve been admitted for other health issues. Still, today he walked into the exam room and asked,”who are you? Have I seen you before?” Then when he asked if I had been hospitalized recently and I said yes, he didn’t remember that I have a lifelong, life threatening blood clotting disorder. We had to remind him. Then he asked if certain tests had been done while I was hospitalized and I said not to my knowledge. He was not prepared at all for my visit,. He had no idea who I was, and that I have a lifelong clotting disorder. I have been a patient with this practice for close to 30 years. I just feel like the bare minimum a doctor should do is read his patient’s profile before entering the exam room. If he had taken 2 minutes to look over my chart he would have seen that I had recently been hospitalized and his colleagues had read multiple ekgs during that time. I left feeling like I have a doctor who knows nothing about me and isn’t concerned about my health. The nurses in the practice know me far better than he does! Very disappointed and actually hurt.
