Patient Reviews
Sep 27, 2023
Had workman's comp claim,MRI showed torn tendon in elbow, after 3 visits, steroid shot, and a discussion about surgery versus long term steroid use is bad.Tried 6 weeks physical therapy, more swelling ,more bruising on elbow. While waiting to hear of I needed surgery, got call from Travelers insurance, saying claim denied. Went to Hovis office to pick up report, said my problem was degenerative disease in shoulder. I have no pain or problem in shoulder, so Dr. Hovis how did you go from MRI showing torn tendon in elbow ,after I picked up a heavy package, to a shoulder problem? I came in to your office on first visit with large bride on elbow and elbow in a sling because I couldn't stand the pain when my arm was hanging down
