Patient Reviews
Oct 14, 2025
Just after Thanksgiving in 2023, my wife was flown from Piedmont Macon to Atlanta due to an aneurysm on her aorta that was already leaking. Dr Brown got the call around 4:30 AM and he and his staff were waiting on her when the helicopter landed. He is not only an excellent surgeon, he is also wonderful in communicating with the family. No matter where he saw us, he would stop and talk to us about my wife. When he visited my wife in ICU, she told him crying, she loved him more than me because he saved her life. Dr Brown said, 'Wait a minute, blood does not bother me, but I cannot take those tears.' Our daughter from New York was down and she missed Dr Brown when he was on his rounds, but she wanted so badly to meet him. The nurse called down and Dr. Brown went all the way back up to ICU, just to meet our daughter. Awesome. The day of her surgery was the same day of Roselyn Carter's funeral in Atlanta and the Air Evac pilot forgot to notify authorities. The alarm went off.
