He was anaesthesialogist for knee replacement surgery at Carson Tahoe Hospital. He supervised an unknown person who made 5 or 6 separate attempts at placing a spinal anaesthesia. I almost passed out. Finally, according to his notes, he successfully administered it in one try. He told me before this that I would be too out of it for it to bother me. I felt every single painful jab. It was only thanks to the nurse holding me up and encouraging me that I didn’t faint.
