Dr. Heaton was the on call provider from a different practice when I delivered my son in 2021. This was in Harrisburg,PA and she was with Women First. I just had another baby with other providers from that practice and it was such a night and day difference I literally tracked her down to leave this review. She was condescending about everything she said to me (“inductions take a long time” as if I didn’t know that already having had multiple by that point!), her cervical checks were excruciating and humiliating. I’m a large woman and my baby’s station was still high, and she dug inside me painfully even when I gave her feedback. She had a lengthy animated convo with my husband about football but was cold any time she addressed me. I ended up pulling off all monitors and walking out of the room for an hour and refused to let her back in. Her note in my chart was so unprofessional that the nurses who saw it recommended I make a complaint with the hospital.
