Patient Reviews
Jul 28, 2022
I saw Dr. Vargas for consultations and follow up care and she never disclosed that she specialized in pediatrics NOT adults. I came to her telling her my MS feels like its progressing and she told me I was depressed. I said I'm fatigued and having difficulty walking. She said its all from depression. I differred to her opinion and did not focus on my MS but rather depression. Her social worker helped me fill out FMLA papers. There was no plan of action to address my MS symptoms. After monthes of trying to deal with the depression only, I was still not able to successfully go back to work. Too much cognitive issues, fatigue and weakness. Dr. Vargas in all the time I was on leave never addressed or put in place a plan to deal with MS symptoms. After months of little improvement, I found a new MS Specialist who saved my life. He took the time to ask the right questions and address each symptom including my freuent UTI which present atypically due to MS and Ocrevus.
